Sharon is a BHS AI registered freelance instructor with over twelve years experience, previously undertaking the role of Yard Manager and Instructor at a local college where she trained students up to BHS Stage III, PTT teaching qualification and NVQ Level III in Horse Management and Riding.  She combines classical riding with natural horsemanship techniques, having gained her Intelligent Horsemanship qualifications with Kelly Marks.  This helps her adapt her teaching to different levels of riding and rider/horse needs, including producing young horses and instilling confidence into novice/nervous combinations.  Sharon’s empathy for the horse and her ability to mould rider and horse into a harmonious combination has enabled her clients to achieve their individual goals ranging from a quiet confident hack to winning at affiliated competitions.
