Clinic Content:

Richard’s system of working through trot and canter poles in a grid before tackling a course gives a structure to the session which builds confidence in novice horses and riders and enables the more proficient rider to warm up without putting the horse under pressure.  The grid is then gradually built up in height to determine the horse and rider’s capabilities before the course of jumps is adjusted in height and format, with a view to achieving a ‘perfect’ round.  

The clinic consists of an individual half-hour session and is suitable for:

• Total novices just starting to show jump (horse or rider)
• Horses or riders with issues about certain types of jump
• Riders needing to build confidence for competing
• Riders wishing to improve their skills to jump higher or better
• Experienced horses or riders needing a refresher course
• Riders who think they can’t ‘see a stride’

Cancellation policy: If bookings are cancelled within 24hrs of the allotted time then the full fee is payable unless the time can be filled from the waiting list.
