Welcome to the all new Sykehouse Arena website

... and with a new website comes a new concept

Having operated in the past as a predominantly BSJA Show Centre, Sykehouse Arena has undergone a change in direction to become a learning centre for both horse and rider, from happy hackers to advanced eventers, whilst maintaining it’s Trailblazers accreditation for qualifying competitions in all disciplines.

Facilities include a 20m x 40m dressage arena and 60m x 40m show jump arena (both rubber surfaced), plus fixed and portable cross country style jumps.  A water schooling complex is to be added shortly.

The aim is to provide a Centre of Training where different training methods and ideas are brought together to fulfil the needs of all equestrian enthusiasts, whether breaking and schooling, competing or simply enjoying your horse.

Training clinics are run by qualified and experienced trainers from different areas of the equestrian world incorporating ‘natural’ and ‘classical’ methods.  They include BHS Advanced Instructors, National Show Jumpers, Dressage/Flatwork Trainers and CCI** Advanced Eventers – so there is something for everyone.

Whatever your aims, whether establishing a relationship with your horse, improving your riding, building your confidence for competing, or working towards Advanced competitions our clinics and demo’s aim to provide your solution.
